Sashiko with Carolyn
Saturday, April 18
1 - 4 pm
Sashiko is a Japanese form of decorative, reinforced stitching. Born out of necessity to reinforce homespun clothes, Sashiko is now a relaxing form of hand needlework. Carolyn will share history and techniques. Kit with fabric, thread & needle included with workshop. We will be making a 14" square sampler to be framed or made into a pillow. Selection of designs and thread colors available.
Image shows basic designs, not specific projects.
