Beginners are always welcome. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early, so you have time to practice with the equipment.
Parking is in the lot off West Street. We do have a loading zone close to the door. Pull up, unload and then go park your car.

Jelly Roll Rug Creative Day

Join us to make a jelly roll rug. We will share tips and techniques to keep your rug flat and finish in a day! Includes lunch, snacks and drinks! We have plenty of room to spread out and have ironing and cutting stations. Plan to bring your own machine, or reserve one for $10. Materials fee is discounted and includes Pattern, Sasher, Machine needle and Roll of precut batting. Additional rolls of batting will be available for sale at the discounted price of $22 for class attendees.
Bring a jelly roll of 40 strips 2-1/2" x 42" and 2 large spools of matching thread, white or gray. Please have 3 bobbins filled with the matching thread, and an extension table for your machine if you have one. A walking foot is also useful. Your sewing machine must sew a zig-zag stitch.
You will receive email instructions on preparing your jelly roll strips before the class.

Join Sharyn for this fun, all-day workshop. The techniques learned in this class can be used for other projects. Just imagine all the things you can make!
Class fee includes lunch and thread samples/fabric to practice with. Kit fee includes bag pattern, frame and exterior bag fabric. Selection of exterior fabric colors. Class for comfortable beginners to intermediate sewists. Supply list to be emailed.
Glasses Case with Braid Accent

Join Jara for a fun workshop and make an eyeglass case for your Spring Break or Summer Beach trip. Add a fun fabric braid to the front of the case using the small braid template used in the braided headband class. Workshop fee includes instruction and Glasses case pattern with flex frame insert, fusible fleece to cushion glasses and fun fabrics. Mini braid acrylic template will be needed and available for purchase at a discount for class attendees.
Sashiko with Carolyn

Sashiko is a Japanese form of decorative, reinforced stitching. Born out of necessity to reinforce homespun clothes, Sashiko is now a relaxing form of hand needlework. Carolyn will share history and techniques. Kit with fabric, thread & needle included with workshop. We will be making a 14" square sampler to be framed or made into a pillow. Selection of designs and thread colors available.
